My leg is on fire

At least, that’s how it feels. I am taking a brief break from studying at the moment and the WonderCat is sprawling in nap mode pressed right up against my leg. It’s adorable, but good lord she’s emitting a ton of heat!! I’m not complaining about the companionship, she is a great little sidekick. We’re sitting on my bed, upstairs in the large house I now share with Pixie and SurBro. It gets a bit warm on the second floor due to heat rising and my windows not having screens on them (I refuse to be the reason the house is flooded by flying little friends) but I have a nice view of the beautiful day currently taking place outside.  I could easily go downstairs to cool off, and I will in a bit to take my ramen bowl to the dishwasher, but I find my room to be far less distracting than the living room. A large screen TV, 6 million channels plus OnDemand options and an XBox360 I can sort of operate? No, that will not be conducive to me passing this Project Management class. Strangely, because I’m neurotic this way, I want to clean my room and re-organize my clothes. Now that the weather seems to be mellowing into a normal spring mode with cool mornings and warm breezy days I don’t think my sweater collection needs to be out taking up space.

But I have digressed from my digression. My iTunes playlist “Mellowness” is aiding in the calm of my day, which I hope to maintain into evening. I have a lot of work to do for class but I don’t want to get burnt out. I think, though, to keep from actually spontaneously combusting due to the radiation of WonderCat that I will take a quick cool-off shower and don some shorts. It’s too nice of a day to spend it in black, paint-spattered yoga pants
